If your Air Conditioning isn't as cold as it should be, or struggles to clear your windscreen on a cold day, you might need an Air Conditioning Regas.
Manufacturers recommend that your Air Conditioning System and Refrigerant Gas levels should be checked every couple of years to make sure it stays in tip-top condition.
The recharge process removes the old refrigerant gas and oil from your air con system before replacing this with the correct amount of new refrigerant and lubricant as per your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendation. A vacuum test is also performed to ensure there are no cracks or damage in your vehicle air conditioning system that could cause the gas to leak out.
There are 2 types of air conditioning refrigerants:
R134a (Old type)
R1234yf (New type 2017 onwards)
You can usually find which refrigerant your car uses by looking under your bonnet, there may be a sticker which states which gas is used which is usually near the air con components.
R134a Regas £69.95
R1234yf Regas £134.95
Antibacterial Air Con Clean £20.00
